What we collect and why
| Information | Purpose and lawful basis |
|---|---|
| Name, email, delivery/billing address and order details | To take, fulfil and support your order: performance of our contract with you or steps you request before a contract. |
| Payment status, transaction reference, amounts and refund records | To reconcile payments and refunds: contract; to meet accounting and tax obligations: legal obligation. |
| Enquiries, correspondence and information you send us | To answer questions or resolve complaints: contract where connected with an order; otherwise our legitimate interest in providing customer support. |
| IP address, device/request information and security logs | To deliver and protect the website and investigate misuse: our legitimate interest in a reliable, secure service. |
We receive order information from Stripe when you use checkout. Stripe handles your payment credentials; Wall Verde’s website does not collect or store full card numbers or security codes. Do not send those details to us by email.
Who receives information
We use Stripe for payments and checkout, Cloudflare to host, deliver and protect the website, run our consent and purchase-measurement service and route support email, and Google Gmail for our support inbox. Stripe also processes certain data for its own payment, security and legal purposes as described in its privacy notice.
If you accept advertising measurement, we also share the activity described below with Meta. Meta may use this alongside information from its own services for advertising and measurement.
Order and contact details may be shared with the fulfilment providers and carriers needed to deliver your order, and with advisers or public authorities where necessary for a legal obligation or claim. We limit sharing to the information needed for those purposes.
International processing
The seller and some service providers operate outside the UK. Your information may therefore be processed in the United States and other countries where they operate, including by Meta if you accept advertising measurement.
Our providers publish their data-processing and international-transfer arrangements: Stripe data-processing terms, Cloudflare data-processing terms and Meta Business Tools Terms. Where UK transfer rules apply, an appropriate permitted transfer mechanism is required. Contact us for information about the safeguards applicable to your data.
How long we keep information
We retain order and payment records for the period needed to fulfil the order, handle returns or disputes and meet applicable accounting, tax and legal requirements. We retain support correspondence for as long as needed to resolve the enquiry and handle related follow-up or claims. Security records are retained according to the operational need and our providers’ retention arrangements. Retention depends on these purposes and applicable legal deadlines; we do not keep personal information indefinitely for an unrelated purpose.
Advertising measurement: your choice
We ask for consent before loading the Meta Pixel or sharing activity with Meta for advertising measurement. If you accept, browser events report page views, the panels you view and when you start checkout. Our purchase-measurement service can report a confirmed paid order to Meta when it is connected to an accepted, unrevoked consent record. The purpose is to measure and improve our advertising. The lawful basis for this advertising processing is your consent.
These events can include the page URL, panel identifiers and names, quantities, actual prices or order value, GBP currency, event and order references, Meta browser/click identifiers (_fbp and _fbc), IP address and browser user-agent information. We do not add your name, email address or telephone number as advertising matching fields, and do not use advanced matching.
For a consented checkout, we store a short-lived attribution record and attach a random reference to the Stripe checkout link. That reference lets us connect the payment confirmation to the consented activity. Stripe receives that reference; it is not your email address or telephone number. Orders that cannot be connected to a valid consent record are not sent through our purchase-measurement service.
You can decline and still browse and buy. Use to accept or withdraw advertising consent. Withdrawal stops further advertising events from this browser and tells our purchase-measurement service to stop events linked to that consent record. It cannot undo information already sent to Meta. We do not treat an order email address as permission to send unrelated marketing.
Advertising and consent retention
We remember your advertising choice and a random consent identifier in this browser for up to 180 days, then ask again. Our service keeps consent and withdrawal records for up to 180 days. Keeping these records is necessary to respect and demonstrate your choice; the lawful basis is our legitimate interest in managing privacy preferences and our legal obligations concerning consent.
Checkout attribution and purchase events awaiting delivery, including their advertising identifiers, are retained for no more than 7 days. The purchase service keeps an order identifier for up to 90 days to prevent duplicate reporting. These periods apply to our advertising service; ordinary order records follow the order-record retention described above. Meta applies its own retention practices to information it receives. See our Cookie information for browser storage periods.
Your rights
Depending on the circumstances, you can request access to your personal information, correction, deletion, restriction of processing or a portable copy. You can object to processing based on legitimate interests. Where processing relies on consent, you can withdraw it at any time without affecting earlier lawful processing. Some information must be retained to comply with the law or deal with claims.
Send requests to support@wallverde.com. We may need enough information to verify your identity. You can complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office or another competent data-protection authority. You do not need to complain to us first.
